In my quest for more housing options as well as reviving some more nostalgia, I present a conversion of 132 Almond Road from Sim State University. At 77 tiles, it functions as a Tiny Residential, too! I decided to make it on a 20×15 lot instead of TS2’s 20×20 due to the fact that there was quite a lot of empty lot to the side and no TS4 20×20 lots that were facing a road the way I wanted, which left just enough room for what I’ve decided is my traditional Sim State University “but EAxis didn’t put anything here” landscaping, oversized hawthorne trees and a pathway lined by blue flowers.
With no lived-in lots to inspire the furnishings (except the bed), I’ve done what I would do if I lived in such a space, taking advantage of the underspace that the TS2 stairs lack to put a television and wall-mounted radio, as well as some wall décor. Sadly, once again the lack of two-tile versions of the High Hedge prevented me from decorating exactly as I wanted, as well as TS4’s lack of the good ol’ privacy windows, but I did what I could. I left the elevation change from TS2 in the back corner alone, and stuck a tree there instead.
Coming in at §6,532 unfurnished and §15,792 furnished, this makes a perfect starter home for a single sim or young couple who like to get really cozy.
