Building interesting lots and Sims depends on getting just the right CC. When you can’t find what you’re looking for, being able to make your own CC can really make a difference.
Thanks to Bakie’s wonderfully clear tutorials, I decided to take a first step in that direction, and try my hand at recoloring, something I haven’t attempted since the Sims 2.
My goal was to create a recolor that retained both vibrancy of color and texture.
Since poor Jilly Jean, my ever-patient Sim model, (You probably know her quite well by now, as she is usually the first to try out any of my lots.) had a very small selection of bathing suits, I thought I would start there.
From what Jilly has conveyed to me, through her smiles and apparent ease, is that despite being made completely out of stretch lace, the Lacey Bathing Suit is comfortable and not at all revealing, even when wet. The Lacey Bathing Suit is also guaranteed not to ride up, no matter how much stretching and twisting you do, in and out of the water, a feature that has earned it the Acrobatics Association Seal of Approval.
