This sim is based off of Nick Westrate as Robert Townsend from the show, Turn: Washington’s Spies.
A tired, anxious Quaker that just wants to help gain America’s independence all while running an inn.
Robert Townsend was a member of the Culper Spy Ring during the Revolutionary War, under the names ‘Samuel Culper, Jr.’ and ‘723.’
– He spied on Loyalist soldiers, British officers, movements of British supplies and troops, and so on from within New York from the years 1779-1782.
– He gave information that was vital for the American army to survive.
– His identity as a spy wasn’t uncovered until 1929!
