Ever wanted to make inventions and serums from the scientist career, but don’t have the right ingredients? You think it’s a pain to max out your gardening skills and go through all that just for one flower to make one serum? Tired of carrying around enough rocks to build your own moon? I know I am! Well you won’t have to bother with ingredients anymore!
What this is
This tuning mod goes in and simply disables the need for ingredients to make any invention or serum. That is you can create all the Reaper’s Friend serums, for example, without needing a single death flower!
Why I did this
Frankly, I love the scientist career but I despise having to create a massive garden and spend 3/4’s of my day hunting ingredients to make anything, to say nothing of trying to find anything in my sims’ MASSIVE inventory… So I made this mod for my own usage. I was updating my other mod (a programming payout mod fyi) so I went, “Well shoot, may as well upload this if I’m already uploading mods.” So yeah, there ya go.
You’ll need the Get to Work expansion, and I’ll note this was made on the 1.7 patch as well.
Also, this mod utilizes the following XML’s, so anything affecting these will clash:
As mentioned in my other mod, I’m having computer issues so bear with me for future reference. Other mod took me like 2 months to update due to I have to do all this on someone else’s computer until my own is rebuilt (*sigh*), but having said that, if needed, I DO plan on maintaining this mod if it breaks down on a later patch.
Thanks to S4PE (for letting me haphazardly slap together cobbled pieces of files that somehow gets called Mods), Scumbumbo (xml extracts files that can go straight to S4pe, love it!), Sims 4 Studio (can extract xmls with titles so I can easily find what I need, love it!), ModtheSims (for giving me a reason to kill lots of my time!), Shimrod (I’m pretty sure I’m somehow using every sim 4 mod he’s made thus far…), Swords (for being sharp and pointy), and all the sims I’ve killed so far (not sure on an exact number, know it’s over 800 though). No animals were harmed in the making of this mod. Except sim animals, they got hurt all the time.
